Areas of Practice

Dr. Jana Bertus advises companies, shareholders and board members on all matters related to corporate and capital markets law. Her work is focused on corporate matters, in particular advice on general and shareholders’ meetings, capital measures, corporate restructurings and reorganisations and the representation in disputes and litigation.

As a second focus, Dr. Jana Bertus advises and represents domestic and foreign investors and companies on all issues related to M&A transactions.


Dr. Jana Bertus is an associate at REITZE WILKEN Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.

She studied at the University of Cologne and the Universitetet i Bergen, Norway. During her doctorate on a capital markets and corporate law topic, she worked as a research assistant at a corporate law firm. Over the course of her legal traineeship, she completed internships at the German Embassy in Tokyo and the Consulate General in Hong Kong.

Dr. Jana Bertus speaks German and English.
